I had the most delightful experience at this charming Scandinavian eatery! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, with a perfect blend of modern and traditional touches that transport you to Scandinavia. The food was absolutely exquisite—each dish was crafted with such care and attention to detail. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the menu offered a fantastic variety, from traditional Nordic fare to inventive twists on classic dishes. The drink selection was just as impressive, with expertly curated options that complemented the food perfectly. What really stood out, though, was the incredible service. Showed up on a Thursday morning during spring break and was able to get a table. Atmosphere is nice, cozy, and relaxed. No thrills and frills with service as it's an order-at-the-counter and have a seat type of establishment. That being said, the multi-talented server/busser/bartender/barista 1 man show was on fire, movin' and getting things done. He was very attentive to us and a pleasure to speak to, all while notably working hard. The food was great. The porridge with a side of eggs was fantastic. The flavor was great, and the toasted coconut flakes added great texture. The eggs were great just the way they were presented, no salt or pepper needed. The bloody Mary was one of the better ones I've had while out and about for a very long time, well done! The three of us were happy to dine here, and will be back if in the area again.

We had an amazing experience here! The staff was friendly and made wonderful coffee! The food was AMAZING!! We got the Elk Swedish Hash and it was delicious, enough good to split between myself and my fiance. We got Cardamom Latte’s as well and they were made to perfection! Recommend this place hands down!

. I ran into a local and said I was looking for a place to grab a coffee. She directed me to the Border Stand, saying they make a wonderful and quick espresso drink. I ran in on a busy Astoria weekend and they were perfect! The staff was inviting and warm. The Togo drinks were quick and delicious. I went back three times that day! Twice for drinks and back again for lunch. I couldn't believe the lunch was even better than the coffee!!! 14/10 recommend.

My dad and I made a weekend trip up to Astoria and were pleasantly surprised by the sites and people. Saw this place and decided to try it out, and I have to say it was one of the best breakfasts I have had. We got the Ham Norwegian Crepe and Lost Egg, both were incredible! Thanks for the meal!

Wow. Had no idea i was gonna enjoy lunch this much. I usually have a hard time paying up front for a restaurant style experience, but this place payed off big time in the end. Absolutely delicious fresh food and a quiet calm sunny atmosphere. This will be a place i must visit again. I had the Lost Egg with trout and my lovely wife had Trout Benedict. We are both completely satisfied.

This is a great breakfast place. We arrived early and were able to sit right away, with other early birds already enjoying breakfast. The dishes are unique and artfully prepared and presented.

This is a must stop for breakfast! Everything was fresh and hearty. The aebleskivers were perfect to share for the table, not too sweet and deliciously pillowy. Golden milk latte was also a fun addition to the drink menu! Highly recommend!
